“Toot” and Find great photography tutorials
At this point I have to say I am a little jealous since I had a similar idea when searching all those blogs, digg, delicious, feedburner, Technorati, flickr, etc etc. for tutorials and howtos about photography and digital imaging. I figured it would be pretty cool to have something like digg but dedicated to photography, digital imaging and familiar topics only. I simply couldn’t find the necessary time and resources.
So what, PicToot is a great idea and blog for every photographer hunting for great photography and digital imaging tutorials in the web. Just like digg.com but all photography, cameras, lighting, editing and photoblogs:
Pictoot, is a web application that allows you to submit an article that will be reviewed by all and will be promoted, based on popularity, to the main page. When a user submits a news article it will be placed in the “tooted” area until it gains sufficient votes to be promoted to the main page. The original source for Pictoot was authored by Ricardo Galli. He was influenced by the extremely popular English technology site digg.com.
So stop by PicToot, register and toot all your tutorials with the community!
