Google Picasa iPhoto Plugin Released

PicasauploaderGoogle is now offering two ways for Mac and iPhoto users to upload their images to the popular Picasa Web Albums service.

This download contains both the plug-in for iPhoto™ and a standalone application, either of which can be used to upload photos from your Mac to Picasa Web Albums.

From their Mac downloads section:

For iPhoto™
The Picasa Web Albums Exporter is a plug-in that lives right inside iPhoto™. Select photos, choose Export in the File or Share menu, and upload them directly to your web album.

For a standalone application
The Picasa Web Albums Uploader is a small application just for uploading your photos to your web album — simply drag photos from the Finder and click the Upload button. Use this method if you want to upload photos or folders of photos that aren’t in iPhoto™, add captions to your photos before you upload them, and search your Mac for recently added photos.
