Amua - or how to listen to Last.fm over Airtunes
I have owned an Apple Airport Express WiFi device for quite some time and stream my iTunes music with it all the time. But mostly I listen to Last.fm internet radio and always thought it´s a real downside of airtunes that it will only stream music from iTunes, until the other day. I randomly discovered an open source app that fills the gap - Amua. It´s not only a real good alternative to the standard Last.fm OSX player, the clue is that it´s a status bar application for iTunes. When runing Amua the streamed music from Last.fm will play directly in iTunes and - you guessed it- over Airtunes. Here’s a screen grab of what it will look like in iTunes when hovering the mouse over the Amua icon in status bar:

When clicking on the little icon in the status bar a menu will pop up, allowing to do all the usual last.fm stuff: love, ban, skip or choose a radio station. Another very cool addon is that Amua also supports Growl - the very cool notification system for Mac OSX. Amua will display the title and interpret via Growl on the screen.
